How Credits Work
A credit is the unit we bill in. It is not a page count in disguise: what one credit covers depends on the kind of file, because the work does. Pages we have to read with OCR cost more, because they cost us more.Word (.docx)

What Will My File Cost?
You never have to guess. Drop the file in and the exact figure appears on the Translate button before you commit — and it is the same figure the ledger debits, because the quote and the charge are one calculation rather than two.A translation that fails or that you cancel is never charged — its reservation is released in full. Individual sentences that fail our checks come back in the original language inside an otherwise translated file, and that job is charged as normal.What Happens When You Run Out
New translations are refused with a message that says so. Nothing is queued, nothing is half-charged, and no work is started that cannot be paid for. Your monthly allowance refills at the start of each billing period.Spending order: your monthly allowance first, then any top-up credits. Pricing FAQ
- When Are Credits Charged?
- The cost is shown before translation. Credits are charged only when a job completes successfully. Failed or cancelled work is released in full.
- What Happens to Unused Credits?
- Monthly credits reset at the end of the billing period. Purchased top-up credits do not expire.
- What If I Run Out?
- No new translation starts without enough credits. You can wait for the monthly reset, buy a top-up, or change plans.
- Why Do Scans and Images Cost More?
- Their text must first be read with OCR. Scanned PDF pages and standalone images therefore use 2 credits each. OCR is best-effort: a line it cannot read stays in the source language on the page, and the page still costs its 2 credits — you are paying for the attempt, not for a guaranteed complete translation.
- Are Taxes Included?
- Displayed prices exclude tax. Applicable VAT or sales tax is calculated at checkout.
- Can I Change or Cancel My Plan?
- Yes. You can change or cancel your plan at any time. If you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again.
